We love Wynbrooke Parents!!! A HUGE THANK YOU to our PTA and Parent Volunteers who assisted at our Annual Fall Festival. Our students had an awesome time because of your hard work. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You Wynbrooke Parents for supporting this event!
Target Time Tutorial is scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday morning from 7:15 am until 8:00 am. Select Target Time Students must arrive by 7:15 am in order to take advantage of this additional support. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, teachers will not be available for conferences, etc. due to our tutorial program.
Parent volunteers are needed on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 am-8:00 am to assist in the cafeteria, the hallways, and to help with traffic in the parking lot. If you are available, we would love your “Gift of Time” in exchange for a volunteer hour!
As a reminder, all parents should have completed 8 volunteer hours by the end of the semester. Failure to complete 16 volunteer hours for the 2017-2018 school year will jeopardize your child’s enrollment at Wynbrooke for the 2018-2019 school year.
Co-GAT Testing for select Third-Fifth Grade Students will begin on Tuesday, November 7th and conclude Thursday, November 9th. If you received notification, please make certain your child gets a good night’s rest; eats a healthy breakfast, and arrives to school on time.
Daily Drop Offs and Early Check-Outs:
We are inundated with daily drop offs such as student lunches, homework assignments, projects, etc. These daily drop offs cause frequent interruptions into the classroom, which ultimately interferes with teaching and learning for our students. To teach your child responsibility, please make certain he/she has all necessary items for a successful day before leaving home. All items dropped off during the day will be held in the front office until the end of the school day.
Early check- outs should be for emergencies only and will end at 1:45 pm through the month of November.
Safety on Wynbrooke’s Campus:
We continue to be concerned for the safety of our students and staff during morning arrival and afternoon dismissal. Please drive slowly; watch out for children, and cooperate with staff members who are on duty. We all have a common goal, which is to keep our students SAFE!
Class Pictures and Picture Re-Takes are scheduled for Thursday, November 9th. All students should be dressed in the navy blue and white uniform.
