Wynbrooke: Weekly Updates for January 5-9
Hello Wynbrooke Parents
Happy New Year! We were pleased to receive our students today and excited about what lies ahead for 2016. We hope that you are just as excited and committed to partnering with us to ensure a successful finish to the school year. We will continue our push towards excellence and will rely heavily on your support.
Next week, we will hold School Choice Tours in preparation for the 2016-2017 school year. Please invite your friends and neighbors who live in our attendance area to come out to learn about Wynbrooke. We are always hoping to recruit other outstanding families to become a part of our Wynbrooke Family. The school choice tours will take place on Tuesday, 12th and Thursday, 14th at 8:30 am in the cafeteria. An additional date has also been set for Monday, January 25th at 6:00 pm.
Our January Calendar will be sent home on Thursday. However, we ask that you mark your calendars with a few important dates.
Friday, January 8th 8:15 am-- Wynbrooke Spelling Bee for 4th and 5th Grade Students
Saturday, January 9th--Title I Saturday School 8:30 am-12:30 pm
Monday, January 11th-- First Semester Report Cards will be distributed
Tuesday, January 12th and Thursday, January 14th --Target Time Tutorial resumes
Monday, January 18th--Schools will be closed in honor of MLK Holiday
Saturday, January 23rd--Title I Saturday School 8:30 am-12:30 pm
