Weekly Update: March 10-14, 2019

Greetings Wynbrooke Parents

Thank you for joining us in last week’s Read Across America Activities. We had an awesome time celebrating literacy with our students! Our students received books as well as prizes, and also participated in daily trivia, DEAR time and other fun activities! Please help us keep the momentum going and require your student to read daily in addition to daily homework. Help us GROW AVID READERS!

Congratulations to Najma Ahmed.  Najma won first place at Wynbrooke's Social Studies Fair with her topic "How likely are people to conform in groups?" She competed with over 100 students at the District and Regional Social Studies Fairs, We are proud to announce that Najma did exceptionally well at the Regional level and will advance to the State Social Studies Fair Competition! Way to go Najma!

Join us at our next Title I Parent University on Tuesday, March 12th 6:00 pm-7:15 pm.  The title of the session is, Math Problem Solving: Keep Calm and Problem Solve. We hope you will come out and learn strategies to assist your student at home. One volunteer hour will be earned.

Our Mothers and Sons are excited about the upcoming dance at Stephenson MS on Saturday, March 16th. Volunteers are still needed for this event. Please click the link below if you are available.
