Good Evening Wynbrooke Parents
I want to personally thank our 5th Grade Team and other Support Staff who traveled with our students to Orlando, Florida last week. In addition to learning a great deal, the students had an amazing time with their teachers and their peers. Thanks parents for entrusting them to us! Kudos to the Wynbrooke Team for going beyond the call of duty to ensure the trip was educational, fun and most importantly safe. Thanks also to the parents who traveled with our group. Your assistance was a HUGE help!
For the next two weeks, we will continue with our last administration of MAP assessment.
We also ask that you take time to reinforce our expectations for positive behavior by reminding him/her that school is still in session. Our goal is to keep students engaged in educational tasks for the remainder of the school year so continue to hold your child accountable for homework, projects, etc. Daily conversations with your child about making appropriate choices, using good self-control and remaining focused on learning will be greatly appreciated.
Camp WB and Title I Summer Scholars:
We are pleased to offer Camp WB June 5th-July 7th. In addition to receiving engaging instruction that will review and enrich for the upcoming school year, students will have weekly field trips and participate in extra-curricular activities such as Art, Chess, Drama, STEM, Technology and Health/Fitness. Registration will be held on Wednesdays during the month of May. Please visit our website for more information. Invitations for the Title I Summer Scholars Program will be go home on Tuesday.
