Greetings Wynbrooke Parents

Please join us in congratulating Myles Thomas who won first place at the East Metro Regional Social Studies Fair. He will now advance to the state fair in April at Clayton State University. Way to go Myles!

Valentines Day
By now, teachers have communicated with you regarding their plans for Valentines Day which is Tuesday, February 14th. Teachers will coordinate activities for students between 11:30 am-1:00 pm. Students are allowed to wear jeans and red shirts/Wynbrooke Spirit wear if they choose.

Target Time Tutorial:
We will not offer Target Time Tutorial this week. Our tutorial program will resume on Thursday, February 23rd.

Progress Reports and Parent Teacher Conferences:
Progress Reports will be distributed this week and At-Risk Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled to take place on Thursday, 3:15 pm-5:15 pm. If you have received an invitation from your child's teacher to attend a conference, please make plans to attend.

DCSD School Choice Open Enrollment:
We are always looking for great students to join our Wynbrooke Family! Please inform your family, friends and neighbors in our attendance area that the DCSD School Choice Office is currently accepting applications for student enrollment during the 17-18 school year.

If your child is currently enrolled, there is no need to participate in the School Choice Lottery.

School Climate Survey:
We are constantly seeking ways to improve our school so we need feedback from all of our parents! Please take a moment to complete the Georgia Department of Education School Climate using the link below.

Reminders:

School will be closed on Friday, February 17th and Monday, February 20th for Winter Break/Presidents' Day. Please visit our website for additional updates.
