Greetings Wynbrooke Parents:
We'd like to thank Mr. Derrick Smith and our PTA for planning an amazing Golf Tournament on Friday, September 30th. It was the continuation of a wonderful Wynbrooke Tradition that was well supported by many businesses in the Atlanta Metro area and beyond. We couldn’t have done it without the many parent volunteers who were on site to assist. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Fine Arts Curriculum Night:
Please join us a we showcase our Exploratory Team and the many exciting things taking place in Health, Physical Education, Music, Spanish, Art and Science. Students and parents will have an opportunity to participate in content specific activities. Our Fine Arts Curriculum Night will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm.
Cooler Temperatures On the Way:
Fall is here and we can expect cooler temperatures. Please take time to review the uniform policy to ensure that your purchases are aligned with our Dressed for Success Initiative. Students are able to wear any color jacket, coat or sweater INTO the building. However, ONLY NAVY BLUE jackets or sweaters can be worn THROUGHOUT the instructional day.
Important Title I Documents:
Important Title I Documents were sent home with students. Please take time to review the Title I Parent Compact and Policy. Be sure to sign and return the Title I Parent Compact Policy Verification Form to your child’s teacher as soon as possible. Thanks to all parents who participated in the Title I Pre-Planning Meetings and who attended last week’s Annual Title I Parent Meeting last week.
Fall Break:
Please be reminded of our upcoming Fall Break, which begins Thursday, October 6th and ends Monday, October 10th. Schools will be closed Thursday (6th), Friday, (7th) and Monday (10th). We look forward to receiving our students on Tuesday, October 11th.
