Spring GA Milestones Retest
The Georgia Milestones Retest will be Monday, May 16th, and Tuesday May 17th for select students. Please make sure you scholar gets plenty of rest and is at school by 7:45am.
You can help by taking the following steps:
1. Limit evening activities prior to testing so that adequate time is provided for rest.
2. Discuss the importance of testing with your son/daughter.
3. Provide a nutritious breakfast.
4. Please avoid scheduling appointments during the testing period.
Pre-K Celebration
Pre-K Students will have their end of the year celebration on Monday, May 16th beginning at 9:00am in the Wynbrooke Elementary Cafeteria. Parents…if you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Jett.
5th Grade Celebration
The 5th Grade Recognition Ceremony will be held on Monday, May 16th beginning at 6:30pm at Stephenson Middle School. Congratulations to all the students being recognized on this memorable day!! 5th Grade parents, if you have any questions about this event, please contact your child’s teacher or Dr. Mullins.
Honors Day
We’re so excited to celebrate the academic accomplishments of our scholars during a Virtual Honors Day Program. Honors Day programming will take place on May 18, 2022, and May 19, 2022. Kindergarten will be at 8:30 am, First grade at 9:30 am, and Second grade will begin at 11:30 am on May 18. Third grade Honors Day will start at 9:00 am, and the Fourth grade will follow at 11:00 am. on May 19. Early Release and Afterschool
The last day of school for the 2021-22 school year for all students is Friday, May 20th. The district has designated this as an early release day for all Dekalb students, and Wynbrooke students will begin being released at 11:00am. There will be no after school programming on this day so both car riding and afterschool students will be dismissed at the same time. The carpool line will be extremely busy, so if you would like to pick your child up early to avoid a long wait, please do so before 10:30am. This will ensure that we can have all students in their proper dismissal destinations. Bus students will be dismissed upon the arrival of the buses on campus that day. Please make sure you inform your child's teacher how your scholar will be going home on the last day of school.

We will have these announcements and possibly others coming this week as we close out school so, please check your email regularly. Look for announcements regarding Wynbrooke’s Summer Enrichment Project, and a schedule for Virtual Students to return their devices and pick up their awards.
